Jim Hunt: Changing the Publication Game

Even though it has only been around for four years, VTA Publications has made quite a mark on the publishing world. It is because of Jim Hunt and his team of hard-working and dedicated employees. Jim knows that he is only as good as the people that he surrounds himself with, and he is always ready and willing to listen to whatever they have to say and get their input. For those unfamiliar with VTA Publications, they are a non-fiction publisher of distance learning courses and planning events for special genres. They take a very hands-on and personal approach when it comes to their products and their service.

They are always there to help when you need them and are happy to answer any and all questions you may have about a particular product if you are using it for the first time. They try to make things as easy as possible. In their mind, the best way to approach economics in addition to financial is to think outside-the-box. The old way of doing things just isn’t working anymore. It is time to come up with fresh, exciting, and fun ways to conduct business. This way, you keep everyone engaged and happy.

What separates them from other companies of the like is the fact that they have tremendous experience. What this experience brings is knowledge and with knowledge you have power. Nothing is going to frazzle them or catch them off guard or be too overwhelming. Chances are they have seen it before, experienced it, and know the proper solution. They like to have experts on hand, and they are there when you need them, no matter what situation may present itself. When you have experience, you don’t worry at all, because you have seen this before and defeated it.

When they talk about their customers, they speak in glowing terms. They want to have customers for life. They don’t want to have one-time customers. They know that by providing great resources, products, and most of all, customer service, you will feel as though you have gotten what you were promised. That says a lot.

SKOUT is a Networking App that is Much More

Christian Wiklund is founder and CEO of a fantastic, worldwide social app that if easy to connect with people around the world as well as making it fun to donate money to certain causes; it is called SKOUT. SKOUT is an app that creates a mobile-social community.

SKOUT originated in 2007 and has remained one of the top 10 social apps. Developed in San Francisco, Wiklund designed this international social app to expand their network into 180 countries and 16 different languages. The app encourages interaction with features including likes, backstage photos, which you can unlock through in-app credits, comments, emoticons and virtual gifts.

One unique feature is the “Shake to Chat,” allows the user to establish a random connection with another one shaking around the world, simply by shaking your device. This can be tons of fun as you connect and network with new friends.

Another fabulous feature that has been used in several ways is the “virtual gifts” feature. Mr. Wiklund initially, designed it to be used between users, but, recently, Wiklund and the tech team have devised another way to use this feature, and it provides users to give into the community.

Last year, SKOUT united the app community and encouraged its users to participate in supporting certain causes. Scout designated certain days where using the virtual gifts would result in donations made to charities such as the Harvest Food Bank where SKOUT fed over 30,000 people.

Skout also donated to the Make-a-wish Foundation in San Francisco on Superheroes Day. Using the virtual gifts feature already on the app, the users used the virtual gifts and then SCOUT donated to benefit the Foundation. SKOUT has proven to the public that they are an extraordinary networking app.

By using SKOUT on your Smartphone or your favorite device, you can connect to other users around the world and also make a difference in the world you live in with the donations that can be made. Wen by Chaz: For the best healthy and shiny look

Wen by Chaz [http://www.wen.com/chaz-dean.html] is an all-in-one shampoo, conditioner and styling treatment for all types of hair; it comes in different formulas on the sephora beauty market so that you can choose depending on the type of hair you have. Wen recommends more pumps than the standard shampoo and conditioner which may seem like a lot at first, however, it instantly makes hair feel thicker after it is massaged into the scalp. This combination mix also keeps hair from falling out mid-shower, something everyone typically has an issue with!
Like most shampoos and conditioners, it takes a few days to get into the normal routine, and for the hair to get used to this new product. It may feel like it is not working, as your hair may be greasy the next morning, however, each product needs time to settle in. Overall, it is much healthier and shinier after a few days of use.

George Soros Escapes Sting on His Open Society Foundations

Open Society Foundations is a network of organizations, partners, projects and foundations with presence in over 100 countries globally. It was founded in 1979 by George Soros. Its main agenda is to create a world where governments are accountable and societies are open; a democratic world. As expected, there are a number of challenges associated with having such an agenda, especially in jurisdictions within which oligarchy is rife and the idea of democracy and open truth is a challenge to the status quo only beneficial to the few at the top. As such, it has been criticized, attacked and banned in countries where democracy is ‘inconvenient’. On March 16, 2016, it almost got stung, right from the United States by one James O’Keefe.

O’Keefe who is well known for his conservative activism has produced a number of audio and video clips showing illegal or abusive behavior of officials from government or civil society organizations. Ideally, his work is to infiltrate offices and expose alleged offenses. Since most of his actions border on illegal, he has been arrested a number of times. Know more on CNBC about George Soros.

This time, his attempted sting on Open Society Group ended up in a painfully embarrassing flop. What happened was, he called the foundation and identified himself as a ‘Victor Kesh’ who was keen on getting involved with the foundation’s activities and helping them fight for European Values. In his introduction, he identified his persona as a Hungarian-American. ‘Kesh’ ends the voicemail by asking for someone to get in touch with and then leaving his number; only, he did not end the clip.

O’Keefe then proceeds to detail the entire plan to an unidentified person while the voicemail is unknowingly still running. He mentions how he plans on going through Dana Geraghty’s LinkedIn profile to get information which he intends to use to gain infiltration into the group. Geraghty is Open Society’s Senior Programs Operations specialist. The 17-minute voicemail continues to detail out the plan to approach the society as potential donors from a reputable foundation willing to work with them. The whole plan was on audio, directly delivered to the potential victim.

Chris Stone, the OSF president described O’Keefe’s pranks as ‘some kind of dirty-tricks operation’. Stone considers them worse than the Watergate burglars and very poor at conducting undercover operations, let alone using an internet browser. He says that even though their incompetence is funny judging from the O’Keefe’s audio clip, what they were trying to do is not funny at all.

George Soros, the OSF founder is a hedge-fund billionaire whose active philanthropy has seen black students in apartheid South Africa attend Cape Town University. George Soros has authored a myriad of books and takes his life mission seriously. His articles and essays frequently appear in national newspapers and magazines globally. According to Soros, his independence and financial clout allows him to speak about controversial issues that others are unable to. George frequently writes on economics, politics and the society. He has especially been vocal about the issues facing present-day Europe. Source: http://www.nytimes.com/topic/person/george-soros
